If you can't join them, beat them! lol.
My dad who is almost never around decided to go on a 2 week leave at the wrongest time; our shift on NEPA's time-table is 12midnight to 12noon for these two weeks, guess what? our generator was acting up, so I get back from work on monday and there's a new generator! it powers the A/Cs, the freezer, all the TVs, everything and the power key is upstairs right in my room, so when NEPA acts up, i get off my bed and turn the key! Cool, eh?; I just concluded that PHCN had FRUSTRATED my dad to the T.
There's nothing you can do, beat them!!!Woomie O!https://www.blogger.com/profile/06384459071706007890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743941223915628284.post-15062462994004551452009-05-05T11:43:00.000+01:002009-05-05T11:43:00.000+01:00Don't be frustrated sweetie.Don't be frustrated sweetie.poeticallytintedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14150217775612386057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743941223915628284.post-42890547224403967952009-05-04T14:35:00.000+01:002009-05-04T14:35:00.000+01:00One would think with all the money being generated...One would think with all the money being generated in Nigeria they'd have enough to fix that. We have outages on a regular basis but it's not for very long - maybe an hour or so. And of course the whole house blows whenever there is thunder. This never happens in the UK but is standard in Spain, Indonesia and Malaysia. Makes you wonder why.

BTW, I'm passing you an international blogger meme tomorrow on my blog because I find your entries interesting.

I'm at http://www.lepak.com/katztales.htmlEllen Whytehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10036407326752053191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4743941223915628284.post-38849139630388633482009-05-04T04:44:00.000+01:002009-05-04T04:44:00.000+01:00I know this post was to whine but i actually like ...I know this post was to whine but i actually like it. It's really sad that a country surrounded by contries that have electricty or according to rumors provides electricity to other countries- can not provide electricity to its own inhabitants. I can only imagine how frasutrating it can be. Even is there wasnt fuel scarcity- the cost of running a gen is high. I sense things are not good for you or Nigeria at present. I think of you often, even when I don't visit. This is just wrong!

The lady in the clock was me, about 20 years ago, lol! My good friends Cristina and Phil thought up the idea and took the photos, then merged them to give the result. So clever, as it was before digitalisation, so I don't know how they did it.
