My aspiration is to be one of the builders of a world of equality, a world where diversity is respected and value for people's lives is paramount. A world where religion and culture are not used as weapons of dispute and destruction, where leaders serve and not steal, where everyone does not pretend to love each other but does so straight from the heart.
Do you know that there is a community of blogHer that is women who blog? Do you know that, this community organises conferences? Do you know too that it’s a big community? Check out BlogHer.
Hey, I joined the community sometime at the beginning of the year. It's really good but only if you are in the US and can attend seminars and conferences. *How u dey? Sorry I missed your anniversary. Hope you had a good one! ;)
Goodstuff to know!Headed to check her blog anf the blogHERS community. You know, iv been some more researh on FGM (working on it for my thesis)--and like you said there are quite a few Nigerian NGOs doing something...they just lack a voice and resources
I am happy that Michelle Obama started her blog! It is an excellent way for her to start to shape her OWN image with the American public and many, many women are online at Blogher. I was surprised that she didn't set up a blog at her husband's campaign website so that there would be more traffic to his site but I suppose she wanted to have a separate site for good reason!
I read her first post and I look forward to reading more about her views about this country!
