Packed inside a cage, you are
Where your purring, growling cannot change a thing
Where your purring, growling cannot change a thing
Tearing into the cage only bring scolding
You are captured for life
That is the feeling
The noise, the commotion,
the confusion as you were carried
the confusion as you were carried
only gets you more frightened
But it brings little sympathy!
Then you arrived
a place where your destiny is decided
Where he's waiting with a forced smile
You never can tell what awaits you
Even with the fixed, forced smile
You know it's a facade
You know it's a facade
Until the momment arrived
You are torn, dissected, dived into
With the "everything is fine" assurance!
You are torn, dissected, dived into
With the "everything is fine" assurance!
Then you saw the green stars
The yellow moon and red sky
As you passed out!
That is a visit to the VET
For the PET
Called the Feminist CAT!

ReplyDeletethey "sing" the whole way long and I am near a nervous breakdown when I come back !
Generally, animals seem to hate vets. My dog once bit a vet when I took her for an injection. Men, it wasn’t funny. Hope your cats are cooperative though. Nice poetry.
ReplyDeleteDid you write that? What a nice poem. The picture is cute!
ReplyDeleteNice kitten there.
ReplyDeleteNice poem, even though I did not fully understand it.
Nice poem. Luna really hates going to the vet, too. I think it's more the car ride and the carrier than the actual vet visit.
ReplyDeleteWe're having our annual injections today so the cage cat poem is just in time :-)
ReplyDeleteYour cats are now writing poetry!!!! Hmmm. lol lol
ReplyDeleteLoved the poem though. Okay you are quite a poet. I said that the last time you wrote a poem right?

Severus Snape: We, she is lamenting the visit to her vet. Hope it's clear now. How do you derive you blog name pls?
Robyn: sorry about you and the cat freak. They are awesome if you really get to know them
Poetically tinted: where is my cats litter?
lol..poor them..so thats what they go through..aww
ReplyDeleteHa ha! My cats can relate to that, I'm sure..
ReplyDeleteI think is all just the fear of going to the clinic. Lol
ReplyDeleteI will read this later. I am so tired. Spent the last four days at the grandest Eskimo dance celebration in the world, the one they call Kivgiq. Each day started at 10: AM and went will past midnight - the final day until nearly 5:00 AM and my brain is just not working now.
ReplyDeleteI like the picture, though.
I will read the poem when my head clears up.
Same for interview Thursday.
