Cats on Tuesday: England without my Cats

I have missed bragging about my cats!!! My sweet sweet Scofield and Garfield. I am off to school in England in a few weeks and taking them with me is not an option. My husband will be joining me in a few weeks and I wonder who will be in charge of my cats. Nobody for now. I choose not to worry about how I will sort this out yet because am trusting God and the Universe! My cats will be fine but will I be fine without having them snuggling next to me for the next one year?

They have being good kids. Socfield skin issue is still a big concern but am sure again that he will be fine. Hey all cat lovers on Gattina Cats on Tuesday... say hello to all my lovely purr angels!!!

Cats on Tuesday: Cats met in da UK by Standtall

CATS ON TUESDAY is a group of cat lovers who share pictures and/or stories about their cats once a week, hosted by Gattina.

These are the amazing cats met on my way and during my visits to a few places in London. I will miss them!

Lara, she is not so friend!

This cat did not wait me for me to get close.

Lucky, she passed away.

Fluffy, she is so unfriendly and does not warm up to strangers

She is a cat in my area and allows me to play with her anytime we see each other. I still don't know her name.

Cats on Tuesday: I met Lucky, I loved Lucky but is now goodnite!!!

The recent death, disasters and killings
I have being in a sober mood since Haiti earthquake and the following up news in Haiti has done nothing to lift my spirit, moreso, the Iran plane that crash landed injuring 46 people and the Ethiopian Airline crash that killed 90 people have done more damage to my spirit than good. Too much bad news in one month. And the crisis in Jos, Nigeria again! OMG, I am tired of sad news!!!...
.............................................................................................................
On to lovely lucky:

Lucky was there on Christmas day. She made me miss my cats so much but her friendliness attitude made my christmas dinner with her family very superb. Lucky was a gracious, friendly and lovely cat. I played with her without her making me feel I was a stranger intruding into her life unlike her sister Fluffy who was ready to sratch the hell out of my hand for daring to touch her! But just 3 days ago, Lucky passed away from an illness suspected to be due largely to plant poisoning.
This is painful! Lucky you are missed!!! Goodnite dear girl!!!

CANDID PICTURES

Since I am fast becoming a photo journalist [if I may say so myself], I decided to share some of the stuff my camera picked up. Blame the camera for any errors and not me please!

I could not decide very well from afar if trully the truck carried so many people, so when I got a better view, I went "waoh, this is serious".

Not that I have not thought of joining this kind of truck myself. It was bad one day that I had to stay at the bus stop forever and I was hoping for just any truck to offer help. Hmmm but seriously this kind of transporation is tough!

That was FESTAC office of the Nigerian Immigration Services. Hmmm, to apply and collect a passport became a very tasking job!

This cat was on the very top of one of the immigrations officers A/C. A homeless kitten may be and I could not even reach where the kitten was!
*******************************

See what the camera decided to focus? A cat fighting it out with a bag. The cat was eating something inside the bag and that was all that matters.

Scofield in my wardrobe! Scofield helping out to type or rather to sleep! LOL

I went to the Computer village Ikeja to buy stuff last Thursday and there was environmental sanitation going on I saw a group of people in about 3 different buildings so close to each other doing sanitation of the mind. The buildings were so close that I wonder why not have just one place for the prayer or the preaching and again I felt like asking if they remember to do the environmental sanitation before they start the mind sanitation! LOL

Cats on Tuesday: Scofield's Strange Behaviour

CATS ON TUESDAY is a group of cat lovers
who share pictures and/or stories about their cats once a week, hosted by Gattina. Socfield refused to come out of God knows where this morning until I located him behind our lundary basket. He then jumped an hid right on my leg in the kitchen while I stood by the sink. He has since being hiding in open places with serious spasm of his body. Scofield on my bag on the dining table yesterday night
He has not gone to eat his food today, he did not go out of the house has he usually does in the morning, he wails, meows loudly on and off, he graps his tail and behind for a bite in sudden moves and his breathing is rapid like someone that is in fear of something. I have gone on the internet to find out what could be the matter, I am still searching and hoping I find something meaningful. Well, I am crying out on his behalf here, what do you think could be the case with him? Yes, I am thinking of asking the vet but he always ask me to bring them in for examination you know and I don't have the time at the moment. Which is kind of painful. Scofield to the left, Smallville to the right and Garfield inside the open drawer. Small kitten sleeping on Socfield chest/stomach!
I rescued a cat on my way from Kenya Embassy last month. I am still looking for a home for the blossoming kitten. She has blossomed since she got in with us. I saw the poor kitten by the road, I was about to step on her before I saw her properly eating something I couldn't tell and just standing there in the rain, wet, hopless and lonely. I carried the kitten and she is doing fine at the moment. I need a home for her though and I will be glad to find a cat lover that doesn't mind having her. The rescued blossoming kitten!
The kitten is very neat, she uses the litter, she follows my older cats in all their funny steps. She has stopped eating rice since my older cats don't eat-lol. She initially liked it until she saw that the older cat don't even touch it. Imagine!

Cats on Tuesday- " I need a friend"

"I am alone, with no home with a man that will sooner get rid of me. Yes, I am crying out for adoption. Please rescue me. I need a home, I need a friend and I will be a good friend to you." from a lonely kitten

I would have loved to rescue this cat from where he is not being treated right but to drink milk once in a while from the man who believe he's doing the poor kitten a favour. I don't think he's a cat lover and unfortunately I have got my hands full. I plead for this cat to be rescued. If you are a cat lover and will not mind to have one to be your friend and make you happy, kindly let me know. Let's give a good home to this gorgeous!

Cats on Tuesday: Celebrating the Award!

My cats are now certified International Bloggers when they received an award that can be compared to Nobel and Pulitzer Prize from one and only Graham Kracker on June 14th, 2009. Thank you Graham Kracker and his wonderful cats for remembering us and passing on this award to us.

And really, my cats deserve this award because of their role in making us have a stress-free painting day in the house on Sunday. The threesome namely Scofield, Smallville and Garfield went to hibernate at the back of our house on top of a roof. They were there for hours, I was even afraid they were not going to come back. But they did and had thorough/enduring bath afterwards.
                                                                     Garfield

I should have captured their rooftop moment and ask Standtall husband to help me take some pictures while we were all struggling it out in the bathroom. It was more enduring for me to have them clean and shining!
Smallville chilling on top of our printer

Cats On Tuesdays: I bruise easily

CATS ON TUESDAY is a group of cat lovers
who share pictures and/or stories about their cats once a week,
hosted by Gattina.

On like Molly that went to the roof and never came back, my 3 other cats namely Scofield, Garfield and Smallville would go out, have fun and come back with Garfield and Smallville visiting the roof at the back of our compound and coming back. Scofield is big and I think too lazy to go on the roof until recently when he was begging Smallville to please come down and come back home.

Just like Molly, Smaville her son bruises easily but not with me. Standtall hubby was a disciplinarian of Molly and I thought that was why she left the first time. We got her back but in love and care under my own very nose, she left home again...

Now Smallville breaking all rules, he would defecate in wrong places, he would always scratch the litter box and wake us up; hubby would ask him to stop and spanked him at times, so he has being taking these personally just like Molly his mother. He defecated on our window last week and hubby and I got angry and spanked him, with me spanking him the most but guess what? He took it out on Standtall hubby and would snare at him any chance he got. He then escaped to the roof and never wanted to come down hence Scofield rescue mission which has yielded good result twice because Smallville is home with us.

But I worry that one day soon, he will go and never come back like Molly. I hope he will not do that because it's tough out there and I don't want him to go and put himself in danger. Scofield good job! Smallville stay put. Garfield thanks for not taking anything personally like your sister did. Keep being a mother to the spoilt Smallville who bruises so easily.

My Passion, my focus, the change that I want to see in the world - is my propellent factor.
