Beheaded

I am in a very cloudy mood right now. I just got to work a while ago from a compulsory errand I had to run. The road wasn’t free to start with and some guys at my back found it pleasurable to place their hands at the back of my seat, disturbing me unnecessarily.

I was so glad to get to my final bus stop. I alighted only to be confronted with an accident. The car somersaulted leaving all the people inside wounded. Apparently it was a family car with 2 kids, their mother, possibly father and a house help. As usual people that gathered around not far away from the scene had fabricated their story in which the man that drove the car (the father of those two frightened female children) dead. My mood went from bad to worse until another person that moved closer to the scene said no one died.

Thank good, I proceeded to the office only to be confronted again with a BEHEADED dog on the way!!! The dog lied in the middle of the road with his head gone, the 4 legs gone as well in a manner that resembled no occurrence of an accident. I was so sad. To think that somebody would have done this to the poor dog!!!

This is not so uncommon as we have a lot of ritualists in our society. Those that would want to perform one cleansing rite or the other or worst still kill human beings especially women by cutting of their private parts and heads for money ritual!!! I am tired. I am sad. I wonder when we will have a good and orderly society where all forms of cruelty to animals and humankind will stop.

I had left a comment, but it has disappeared. I can't repeat myself, except to say that it sounds like a hard experience, but I was glad that no one died, very sad for the dog and I hoped that it had gone quickly, and suffered little.

Hello there!

This story is sooo sad.

Nigeria is not the only African country were beheadings are commonplace... it is common through all of West Africa, I have been told...

It seems to increase during election times...

I was warned never to eat any food unless I know the person who prepared it because poisonings of black Americans are VERY common due to envy of our American citizenship that is idolized in some African countries...this is actually what black Americans have told me who were poisoned in Africa and survived.

It is a shame.

Peace, blessings and DUNAMIS!
Lisa

Mz.DEE: pls do not throw up

Jaycee: I thot of my cats too and I firmly resolve not to let them go abt anyhow. Imagine some pple by kittens for rituals or herbs!!!

LISA dear: you r so right abt this happening a lot during elections. I wodner why they have to carry out rituals to serve the pple.
I am not sure abt the poisoining of black americans but if this is happneing, it's really a shame. How can people engage in envying others this way.

Chari: good to know u r allright. Let's talk

Lighty: you are darn right

Abbie: THE WINNER!!! WHERE IS THE PARTY?

YEE! I was scared by that title oh. Pele...thank God nobody died.

Poor dog. It was clearly not an accident. And I thought all these ritual things had stopped.

In addition to election times, I'll say this is a direct result of the poor economy and unemployment.
