You know, iv been some more researh on FGM (working on it for my thesis)--and like you said there are quite a few Nigerian NGOs doing something...they just lack a voice and resources

Hey StandTall!

I am happy that Michelle Obama started her blog! It is an excellent way for her to start to shape her OWN image with the American public and many, many women are online at Blogher. I was surprised that she didn't set up a blog at her husband's campaign website so that there would be more traffic to his site but I suppose she wanted to have a separate site for good reason!

I read her first post and I look forward to reading more about her views about this country!
